United adding flights to Calif. resort town

CHICAGO – United Airlines will add daily flights from San Francisco to Mammoth Yosemite Airport in the resort town of Mammoth Lakes, the company said Wednesday.

California's Mammoth Mountain Ski Area draws thousands of vacationers every year.

The flights will be operated under contract with SkyWest Airlines, flying under the United Express name on 66-seat CRJ-700 regional jets. The first flight is planned for Dec. 16.
